Large-Scale 3D Printing
We print large parts in one piece up to 1 m3 volume.
Full-size prototypes, architectural models, industrial jigs, exhibitions and design objects. We handle large printing with consideration for strength, warping, layer orientation and transport.
When large-scale makes sense
- When it's better to produce the part as a whole rather than gluing smaller pieces together.
- For jigs, molds, covers, mockups, design models and building components.
- For fast production of a large object without expensive tooling.
What we monitor in large prints
- Shrinkage, warping and proper print orientation.
- Material selection based on strength, temperature and surface finish.
- Segmentation only when technically better.
Frequently asked questions
How large a part can be printed?
Depending on the technology, up to 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm. For larger objects, we propose segmentation.
Is a large print strong?
Strength depends on material, geometry, infill and layer orientation. We address these parameters before production.
