Resin materials may have different mechanical properties than engineering filaments. So we always check whether the part only needs to look good or also function long-term.

Is SLA suitable for functional parts?
Sometimes yes, but it depends on the resin material and stress. For mechanically stressed parts, we often recommend FDM or SLS.
